Building on 22 years of global transformation, 2025 saw us deepen our mission: empowering communities with the skills and systems to drive their own sustainable, resilient growth.
ASSIST is a self-sustaining, Pan-Asian non-profit driven by a vision of sustainable transformation. Founded in 2003 in Makati City, Philippines, what began as a small team has grown into a trusted regional development organization. This evolution is rooted in our "Partner for Progress" philosophy — an integrated approach that links technical expertise, social action, and development media to drive lasting, people-centered change.
By uniting global partner strengths with local community wisdom, we have built a self-reinforcing engine for development. Today, this ecosystem supports 6 country offices and over 400 successfully implemented projects, reaching more than 3 million lives across Asia and beyond.
ASSIST engages partners through four core modalities, ensuring every collaboration is purposeful, structured, and maximizes community impact.
We partner with companies and foundations to design and implement programs aligned with their ESG goals. From food security to disaster resilience, we bridge business resources with community reality through structured, measurable interventions that build local capacity.
Our programs are built around genuine community needs, creating experiences that are meaningful for employees and valuable for the communities they serve. Whether through skills-based mentorship or hands-on field engagement, we design purpose-driven experiences for farmers, youth, and local leaders.
Through our Development Solutions arm and ASSIST Creativelab (ACL), we provide the technical infrastructure for impact. We offer end-to-end services—including creative design, M&E, eLearning, and communication strategy—to equip partners with the tools needed to scale their own initiatives.
We transform product donations into structured, high-impact interventions. By mobilizing essential resources like solar lanterns, water filtration systems, and educational tools, we ensure that pro bono contributions reach the communities that need them most, backed by full impact reporting.
In 2025, our five thematic areas served as a strategic framework for addressing critical development challenges through measurable, community-driven impact.
We empower farmers, fishers, and agri-entrepreneurs to build climate-resilient, inclusive, and sustainable food systems across Asia.
