Annual Highlights

Building a More Resilient Asia

Building on 23 years of global transformation, 2025 saw us deepen our mission: empowering communities with the skills and systems to drive their own sustainable, resilient growth.

ASSIST is a self-sustaining, international non-profit (NGO) driven by a vision of sustainable transformation. Founded in 2003 and headquartered in Makati City, Philippines, what began as a small team has grown into a trusted development organization working across Asia and beyond. This evolution is rooted in our "Partner for Progress" philosophy — an integrated approach that links technical expertise, social action, and development media to drive lasting, people-centered change.

By uniting global partner strengths with local community wisdom, we have built a self-reinforcing engine for development. Today, this ecosystem supports 6 country offices and over 400 successfully implemented projects, reaching more than 3 million lives across Asia and beyond.
